Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 3 very ripe bananas, soft, mashed well (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350* and butter a loaf pan. Mash bananas in a large bowl, add sour cream, eggs and butter. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together and gently stir into the banana mixture. Pour into the pan and bake for 55 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the loaf pan.
