Feeling Crafty

This is actually old news, but I’ll share anyways. A while back, inspired by my sister and cousin, I decided to get back into knitting. I must admit, I was never that great at it, mostly because I have less patience than a two year old. This time around, however, I found it to be incredibly therapeutic. I finished this cardigan a few months ago, but didn’t get the buttons on until, well, yesterday. This is the first item of clothing that Sophia is wearing that I made, and I must say, it feels great. She better not spill on it, though!

How beautiful! She could be a model! If papa isn’t on those bill boards maybe she could be!! Height is in her favor!!

I love it! And I love this white and burgundy combination! I think she loves it too 🙂 And her hair, it grew so long! We’re still very much hair-challenged, hmm…

We are also still fairly challenged with the hair. I guess we’ll both wait and hopefully have a chance to make pigtails by the summer. The vest is from cashmere yarn and it is SOOO warm. I am now debating about knitting one for myself, although I am sure it will take a little longer to do that. 🙂

Yeah, that’s usually the challenge with grown up knits. But I do like a bit of a “mommy and me” matchy style. 🙂

And can’t wait for the pigtails, aw…………
