The Lazy, Crazy, Hazy Days of Summer

Looking at the number of pictures and the nature of them from our recent beach vacation confirms that Henri Cartier-Bresson was correct when he said that taking photos with a camera is an illusion; they are instead made with the eye, the heart, and the head. We didn’t capture many pictures of everydayness, the sweet moments the kids shared or the fun in the ocean with the camera, but we did capture every single one with our eyes. The girls will be this little for a short period of time, they will only have these firsts just once, and I suddenly want to savor everything especially the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. #summer #beach #growingupsavvy #family #kidsofinstagram
